Primech Building Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects across commercial and industrial sectors. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that all electrical projects are safe, efficient, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using appropriate design software.
- Collaborate with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Perform site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and design principles.
- ECS Gold card holder is a must.
- Testing experience (2391 preferred but not essential).
- Troubleshooting experience.
- Experience of maintaining electrical equipment (routine maintenance).
- Experience in fault finding.
- A basic understanding of 3 Phase and Single Phase pumps and motors.
- Commercial and domestic boiler wiring understanding.
- BMS experience (preferred but not essential).
- Experience in the installation of containment (tray, basket, ladder and metal conduit).
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams.
- Full UK driver's license as site visits may be required.
