About the role
You will be responsible for evaluating product, development and investment costs for current and future product development plans at a system or part level, and for working proactively toward achieving cost target objectives with project teams across product platforms in conjunction with the Purchasing and Engineering functions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate product, development and investment costs for current and future product development plans at a system or part level.
- Work with Purchasing and Engineering to achieve cost targets across product platforms.
Qualifications
- Experience of product cost management.
- Knowledge of automotive cost estimating and engineering practices.
- Experience in technical negotiations.
- Experience in developing suppliers to determine good value for money products.
- Experience with Siemens TcPCM Product Costing or similar software solutions (Desirable).
