This role is based at our manufacturing facility in Eastwood, Nottingham, with regular domestic and international travel.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic Aftermarket Service team. You will be responsible for delivering on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for our bespoke damper systems and associated equipment. This role involves frequent travel and occasional offshore assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform site-based inspections, maintenance, and upgrades on industrial damper systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and automation issues efficiently.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and service reports.
- Liaise with customers to ensure service excellence and technical support.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- ONC / Level 3 or higher qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in field service within industrial or engineering environments (Power Generation/Oil & Gas preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel and undertake offshore training when required.
- Full UK driving licence.
