We have an opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager to join our development team. You'll be based out of our head office in Bristol, combining office and home working to ensure a positive work/life balance.

Role Overview

It's an exciting time to join us to help us deliver our ambitious development programme of 25,000 new homes over the next 10 years. Sovereign Network Group (SNG) provide over 85,000 homes and invest in communities across London and the South of England – our purpose, crystalised within our sector leading Homes and Place Standard, is to provide quality affordable homes and thriving communities over generations.

The role will support the region, delivering all technical functions in support of Land and New Business and Regeneration teams to help meet the new business delivery targets for S106, Land‑Led, JV and Regeneration opportunities.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that SNG's development brief, designs, specifications and relevant information, are executed and specified with due regard to cost, quality, time and overall viability, by design consultants and contractors, so that SNG's objectives are fully met. This role will collaborate with Consultants, Technical and colleagues to identify and mitigate technical, procurement, commercial, statutory, build risks and inefficiencies. All technical due diligence functions on land appraisals, proposing compliant and cost‑effective solutions.
