Location: Near Stowmarket, Suffolk

Join a forward-thinking engineering business specialising in industrial automation and electrical systems, design and deliver high-quality engineered solutions, due to continued growth they are expanding the design team.

My client seeks an CAD Design Engineer to take a key role in developing electrical schematics, control panels and wiring systems. This role offers technical variety, hands‑on collaboration with manufacturing teams, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and product innovation.

What you’ll do

• Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts & wiring diagrams
• Work closely with project managers & cross-functional teams
• Support manufacturing with technical input & design queries
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC/UL/EN)

What you’ll bring

• Strong understanding of electrical systems & industrial automation
• Ability to interpret standards & apply best practice
• Strong problem‑solving mindset & high attention to detail
• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
• £43k–£55k salary + annual bonus
