Automation Test Engineer (SC Cleared 6 Months FTC)
Role will be part of our Quality Engineering & Assurance (QE&A) Practice. With more than 650 clients across industry verticals and a global footprint, Cognizant QE&A practice is a recognized thought leader in quality engineering and Assurance. As enterprises simplify, modernize and secure their legacy environments for the digital era, robust quality engineering and assurance is essential. Quality takes an end‑to‑end connotation and must straddle both legacy and digital systems. Cognizant QE&A is reimagining QE&A, employing an end‑to‑end ecosystem approach with intelligent and automated QA processes. In so doing, increasing quality and speed to promote faster business and technology change, as well as a better customer experience.
Candidates should be SC cleared.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Programming: Python and Java experience
- Work on automation framework across technologies
- Power BI: Advanced DAX, Power Query (M), tabular modelling, performance tuning, RLS/OLS, deployment pipelines.
- GitHub Actions: Authoring CI/CD pipelines (build/test/deploy), secrets management, environment gates, artifact promotion
- Power Automate: Cloud flows for approvals, notifications, integration; error handling and retry logic.
- Dataverse and Azure Data Lake
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience in Automation Programming: Strong Python and Java experience
- Excellent automation hands‑on framework experience across technologies
- Experience in Power BI: Advanced DAX, Power Query (M), tabular modelling, performance tuning, RLS/OLS, deployment pipelines.
- Experience in GitHub Actions: Authoring CI/CD pipelines (build/test/deploy), secrets management, environment gates, artifact promotion
- Experience in Power Automate: Cloud flows for approvals, notifications, integration; error handling and retry logic.
- Experience in Dataverse and Azure Data Lake
