Global Field Service Engineer | Up to £40,000 (£55k – £60k OTE) | Huntingdon
Our client is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of specialist machinery for the rubber industry. They are recognised as a trusted provider of high-quality, reliable equipment that helps businesses increase efficiency, boost productivity, and enhance profitability.
The Role:
The position involves traveling both within the UK and internationally to carry out a range of tasks, including equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault diagnosis. The role requires a high level of flexibility, as assignments abroad can last up to two weeks at a time. When not traveling, the successful candidate will be based at their facility in Cambridgeshire. On average, travel commitments amount to around 2-3 weeks per month, which may occasionally include weekends. Typical destinations include Europe, North America, and occasionally Asia.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics (essential)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
- Proven customer service skills with a commercially aware mindset
- Self‑motivated, capable of working independently and managing own tasks
- Familiarity with electrical systems and PLCs (desirable)
