Technical Engineering Lead

Overview

Join to apply for the Technical Engineering Lead role at JLL. This key position reports directly to the Account Manager and is a critical stakeholder for MEP operational delivery within the Critical Facility & Data Centre.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day critical asset & system management, supporting site FM with projects, contractors and reactive MEP works.
• Supervise, coordinate and lead the site‑based engineering team to deliver the JLL SOW.
• Operate all systems within the facility efficiently, providing concise technical reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure health and safety lead culture, driving Safety First culture and compliance with safe systems of works.
• Manage onsite critical spares, maintain site stock register and conduct monthly auditing.
• Prepare and contribute to monthly and quarterly engineering reports, reporting significant events and monitoring utilities usage.
• Provide technical support for moves, changes and project works (e.g., capital expenditure projects, asset life cycle planning).
• Perform performance appraisals for direct reports, set clear objectives and support succession planning.
• Actively participate in the site escalation process, including on‑call support during emergencies.
• Promote a “Safety First” culture in line with the JLL Cardinal Rules of Safety.

Qualifications

• Experience managing MEP systems and critical facilities operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of statutory regulations and compliance for building systems.
• Proven track record in delivering asset reliability and risk management.
