The role
- Actively participate in developing UK practice and promote the company to existing and prospective clients.
- Conducting geotechnical site investigations including testing, data logging and technical reporting.
- Delivery of high standard geotechnical designs.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across mixed use, commercial, urban, buildings and infrastructure projects
- Planning and managing large scale projects. This will include coordinating the preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports and monitoring project progress, project scheduling/resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent, with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering
- Minimum 8-10 years industry experience
- Proven project management skills (achieving prescribed budget, timeframe and client requirements)
- An understanding of the business/organisation/marketing context of business solutions.
- Well-developed consulting skills
- Ability to manage client relationships and expectations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
- Chartered Member of the ICE or the Geotechnical Society or equivalent
