Salary: £35 - 45,000 + pkg

Location: Eastbourne

Regions: Southern England, Sussex

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a Main Civil Engineering Contractor who operates across the UK, specializing in various civil engineering sectors with a primary focus on infrastructure, highways, and rail-based projects. The role will be based on a project on the south coast and will involve working within the regional business unit.

My client is a multi-million-pound contractor with over 50 years of industry experience and a strong reputation nationwide. If successful, you will join a dedicated team that works closely with clients to understand their requirements and objectives, delivering quality, innovative, and sustainable projects that exceed expectations.

The ideal candidate will need to possess relevant qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Progressed steadily from an engineering background
• Experience in civil sectors
• Chartered or working towards chartership
• Experience managing on-site staff (engineers, forepersons, etc.)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of valuations and applications for payment
• Preparation of cost reports for clients
• Management of subcontract and material procurement schedules
• Administration of subcontractor and supplier accounts
• Contract administration, including change management and maintaining related registers
