Salary: Up To £45K + Pkg

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a main Civil Contractor who works across the UK, specializing in a variety of civil engineering sectors with a primary focus on infrastructure/highway based projects. Role will be based in West London, with the candidate expected to travel intermittently to various project sites when required.
Relevant Qualifications needed;
- Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering
- Progressed steadily from an Engineering background
- Previously worked on Civil sectors
- Chartered or Working towards Chartership
- Experience of managing a team of on site staff (engineers, foreman, etc)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment
- The preparation of Cost Reports to the Client
- The preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
- The administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts
- Contract administration, including change management and maintaining associated registers.
- Maintaining project risk and opportunities schedule
- Procurement for project/section of works
- Ensuring all involved in procurement for project understand allowances for items they are responsible for and the procedures to be followed
- Financial reporting for project/section of works
- Preparing cash forecast
- Preparing quarterly forecasts
