Electrical Design Engineer – Instrumentation & Controls Bias

Location: Risley, Cheshire (3 days per week on-site)

Contract Type: Secondment | Start Date: Mid-September | Duration: TBC
Rate: Competitive (DOE)

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in instrumentation and controls to join a specialist engineering team. You'll be involved in the design of building services, control systems, HVAC systems, and more, working on complex projects within the nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
  • Proven background in the nuclear industry
  • Control systems
  • HVAC systems
  • Proficiency with: AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, PDMS / Aveva 3D
  • Ability to work 3 days per week in Hinton House (Risley)
  • Security clearance: BPSS/SC required (DV if requested)

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Design Engineer qualification (Chartered preferred)
