PLC Programmer

Overview

Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) have a consulting assignment available for a Siemens PLC Software Engineer (SC Cleared) based in the UK. Currently we\'re looking for a Siemens PLC Software Engineer to help us deliver a bespoke piece of test equipment for the defence sector, specifically designed for submarine applications.

This project focuses on developing software requirements and the overall project will be focused on developing and implementing Siemens PLC software, integrating a 7-inch HMI, and supporting the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) phases.

Active SC Clearance is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Develop software requirements for Siemens PLC systems
• Implement Siemens PLC software
• Integrate a 7-inch human-machine interface (HMI)
• Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) phases

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance is mandatory
• Experience with HMI/GUI development
• Knowledge of MOD/defence cyber security and information assurance standards
• Familiarity with FAT/SAT processes and test equipment commissioning
• Prior experience in defence or submarine systems is highly desirable
