Description
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on bespoke printing and finishing machinery.
- Provide technical support to the production department and assist with process improvements.
- Participate in the development of new equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Work within a rotating shift pattern, including early, late, and night shifts, plus weekend call‑out duties.
Profile
A successful Multi‑Skilled Engineer should have:
- Holds an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); 18th Edition preferred.
- Experienced in a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of PLC control and variable speed motor controllers.
- Demonstrates problem‑solving ability, initiative, and a commitment to maintaining production.
- Flexible and self‑motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Advantageous experience includes print machinery, Siemens/Mitsubishi controllers, project management, machine building, CAD electrical drawings, and PUWER risk assessments.
