Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer FM Service Provider NHS Campus London up to £45,000 per annum
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Foot Mobile Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to cover five NHS campus sites across London. You will be travelling to all 5 sites, including the home of Arts and Sciences, pristine Psychology and Neurosciences facilities, a dental institute, and a museum dedicated to one of England’s most famous nurses. You will work with a friendly, knowledgeable team already in place to help you get fully up to speed with the buildings and systems.
In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, plenty of overtime, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, further training, career progression, and Zones 1 & 2 Oyster card for travel between sites.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday (40 hour week) 8am to 5pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, split units, AHUs, FCUs).
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to ensure systems run efficiently and reliably.
- Perform routine checks, inspections, filter changes, coil cleaning, and system testing.
- Ensure all work meets F‑Gas and industry compliance standards.
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and professionally to minimise downtime.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and update job sheets and reports.
- Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of service.
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend upgrades where needed.
Requirements
- Possess relevant and up‑to‑date F‑Gas and NVQ qualifications.
- Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and building services environment.
- A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and building services industry.
- Proven knowledge of a wide spectrum of A/C systems and plans.
- Ability to develop and be part of a team. Manage one’s own time, work and paperwork.
- Capable of building long‑term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Positive attitude, flexible approach to hours and problem‑solving on site.
