Seaworthy Consulting are looking for a Senior Service Engineerto join a workboat fleet. Candidate needs to have 3-5years experience in a Marine/Heavy Diesel Senior level position within the maritime sector. This is a permanent/shore-based role working around UK, candidate needs to have experience working in a senior level role as engineer within maritime sector. Candidate will not be expected to sail with the crew daily, as will be overseeing maintenance when the vessels come alongside in the evening, or during the day – the hours are up to 11hours per day working each day which could be day or night shift.

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Service Engineer. The Senior Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, providing field service, offering technical support, and performing maintenance and repair tasks on marine systems. Their day-to-day tasks will also include effective communication with clients and team members to ensure all services are carried out efficiently and professionally. Knowledge of hydraulics, interpreting vessel manuals/drawing, 24V/240V electrical systems are mandatory also having flexible attitude to work and working and commuting well within a team.

You must have:

• NVQ or Equivalent in Engineering and or Electrical Engineering
• Right to work in UK
• Full clean UK drivers licence

• Hand arm vibration
• Safe use of Ladders/working at height
• Basic Electrical Safety Awareness
• Awareness of confines spaces

Salary: around £45K depending on experience (plus monthly subsistence payment of £228.75 which is non-taxable)

Location: role requires traveling all around UK
