Key Responsibilities of the Contracts Engineer:
- Managing and overseeing engineering contracts from initial enquiry through to final delivery
- Conducting site surveys and client consultations
- Preparing and reviewing technical drawings using AutoCAD 2D
- Designing LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems in line with industry standards
- Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely project delivery
- Supporting fabrication and installation teams with accurate and practical design input
Desired Skills & Experience of the Contracts Engineer:
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
- Experience with LEV design and relevant standards
- Competence in conducting site surveys and reporting
- Good understanding of sheet metal work and fabrication processes
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence
