Electrical Design Engineer – Premier Group

Salary: £35,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Type: Permanent | Location: Liverpool with hybrid flexibility (2 days from home per week).

We are seeking a Junior or experienced Electrical Design Engineer with an interest in manufacturing/control systems to join our engineering and manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Working within the existing multi‑disciplinary engineering team.
• Being involved in development and electrical design activities.
• Working on the whole product lifecycle.
• Having an interest in control systems.
• Creating the required technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship/HNC/HND/BTEC/City & Guilds/Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Experience designing a variety of electrical systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Excellent problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
