About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Consultant to support the implementation and optimisation of a new finance system for one of our Glasgow-based clients. This initiative aims to standardise forecasting and revenue recognition processes across multiple long-term projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior finance stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate progress, and drive consensus across teams.
- Partner Management: Challenge and collaborate with the existing Microsoft Partner to ensure quality, scalability, and proper governance of the D365 solution.
- Process Improvement: Analyse the current finance processes and design solutions to standardise forecasting, revenue recognition, and reporting.
- Hands-On Implementation: Where required, take a practical role in configuring, customising, and optimising Business Central functionality.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee testing, documentation, and deployment activities to ensure a stable and effective rollout.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) across multiple clients or environments.
- Strong understanding of finance processes including revenue recognition, forecasting, and project accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead implementations, from requirements gathering through to design, development & deployment.
- Experience managing third-party partners or vendors within a D365 context.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior finance professionals.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on design and development when necessary.
