About the Role
- Position: Health and Safety Consultant
- Salary: £52K + car allowance (£4K) + excellent benefits package.
- Location: Home-based (within a one hour commute of Manchester)
- Travel: Access to a car and regular travel to clients across the North West (typically 3 days per week at client sites), team meetings and occasional travel and nights away to clients in other regions across the UK.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Minimum five years in a health and safety consultancy role, at least CertIOSH level or equivalent.
Ideally with exposure to sectors such as education, commercial property, social housing and construction.
- Qualities:
- Passion for improving workplace safety, health, and wellbeing.
- Genuine curiosity and interest in helping clients operate at their best.
- Ambition and capability to develop towards lead consultant roles and beyond!
- An interest in growing your technical ability and associated areas of risk management, such as fire safety.
- Pragmatic and flexible approach to customer service.
- Interest in technology and digitalisation in the workplace.
- Excellent writing skills for high-quality audits and reports.
- Confidence to develop and deliver engaging presentations and training.
- Great people skills and ability to influence and promote a safe and healthy workplace.
- Enjoys variety and change, working across different sectors.
