Associate Consultant – Paralegal + Legal Risk & Compliance Specialist
The Immigration team, part of the broader Private Client department, is highly ranked by leading legal directories, in both Chambers and in The Legal 500. The team provides expert legal advice to individuals, families, and organisations on UK immigration matters. Known for handling complex cases and advising high-net-worth clients, it assists with visas, permanent residence, and citizenship. The team also supports businesses, educational institutions, and charities with sponsor licensing and compliance. Collaboration with colleagues in tax, family, and corporate law is a key part of supporting clients relocating to the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting legal professionals with document management, application drafting, and preparation of submission bundles.
- Drafting and proofreading legal documents and client reports.
- Conducting legal research using online and reference sources.
- Communicating with clients professionally to progress immigration matters.
- Analysing legal issues and proposing effective solutions.
- Assisting in preparation for client meetings and attending meetings to take notes.
- Ensuring compliance with internal file management and time-recording systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.

Qualifications
