Employee Relations Manager
- Duration: 6-month Temporary Contract
- Location: East Midlands/Hybrid – 2/3 days on site
- Pay rate: £225 per day via Umbrella (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead a major change management project, overseeing redeployment and streamlining of the organisation’s administrative function
- Provide expert ER advice, coaching and support on complex cases including organisational change, disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, bullying/harassment and performance management
- Manage a diverse ER caseload, ensuring fair, timely and legally compliant resolutions
- Build strong relationships with leaders, HR, staff representatives and stakeholders to embed good ER practice and strengthen management capability
- Lead, develop and manage ER Advisors to deliver consistent, high-quality service and a positive, values-based culture
- Use ER data and staff feedback to identify trends, drive interventions and support cultural improvement
- Design and deliver ER training for managers to promote equality, inclusivity and a Just Culture
- Deputise for the Senior ER Manager, representing ER and driving policy development and service improvement
Requirements
- Public Sector experience
- Experience with large scale management projects
- Experience delivering projects to tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
