The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join the firm’s highly regarded team. You will advise a broad client base on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and play a part in business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on dismissals, discrimination, redundancy and TUPE
- Drafting contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Representing clients in employment tribunals
- Supporting corporate deals with employment input
- Providing day-to-day HR and employee relations advice
- Assisting senior lawyers on complex litigation
- Building strong and lasting client relationships
- Taking part in business development and networking
The Candidate
- Solicitor with 1+ PQE
- Solid experience in contentious and non-contentious work
- Strong drafting, advisory and advocacy skills
- Clear communicator with excellent client care
- Commercially aware and proactive
- Well organised and confident handling a busy caseload
- Team player keen to contribute to growth of the department
