Business Development Manager – Field based
Location: Remote (ad-hoc office travel – S.West UK)
Salary: circa £30,000 basic salary + £5,000 car allowance, uncapped OTE
Are you passionate about the environment? Do you also have a proven background in solution selling and ideally the facilities management or waste industries?
We are working with an established green energy provider based across the UK and USA providing a range of waste treatment solutions into facilities management organisations, local authorities and large corporates alike.
Our client invented innovative chemical treatment and machine processing solutions designed to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, on an industrial scale, saving millions of tons in waste disposal every year, whilst also being able to convert some of this waste product into useable fuel.
We are searching for a sales professional to support the existing team and manage the sales process from cradle to grave. You will have the support of an excellent team of technical consultants, marketing and senior management.
This role will be home based with travel to client site for site surveys and general commercial meetings.
Experience required:
- Proven track record in B2B solutions sales.
- Ideally facilities management OR waste management experience (not essential)
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record against KPI’s / targets with a drive to succeed.
- Degree in environmental science OR related subjects (not essential)
