Help isolated adults feel more connected and supported through letter writing, writing postcards and/or telephone calls.
Role Purpose
- Provide companionship and social contact to isolated adults.
- Help people feel connected to their local community.
- Offer befriending in one or more ways: face‑to‑face, phone, letter writing, groups, dog walking.
Key Tasks
- Build friendly, supportive relationships.
- Keep simple records of contact (training provided).
- Optional: help with events/activities and help develop the service with AVC.
