Job Title: Business Analyst - Wholesale Lending Migration to Loan IQ
Location: United Kingdom
Overview
Lead a cross‑functional Migration Pod to plan, manage, and execute systems and process change for the Wholesale Lending migration from ACBS to Finastra Fusion Loan IQ. Own business analysis, current‑to‑future gap analysis, requirements, process updates, test design and execution, data reconciliation, and operational readiness through go‑live and transition to BAU.
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Key Accountabilities
- Run the pod, define scope, and drive dry runs and go‑live cutovers. Track risks, issues, and decisions.
- Validate ACBS data for Loan IQ migration, perform pre‑ and post‑migration reconciliations, and drive fixes to improve data quality across waves.
- Build end‑to‑end test strategy and scenarios, write scripts, manage UAT, and capture evidence aligned to business risk.
- Update procedures and controls for the future state, capture approvals, and maintain a clean artefact trail in the project repository.
- Coordinate technology, operations users, controls, Migration Technology Team, and UAT Test Manager. Obtain sign‑off on migration execution, future‑state design choices, and Go/No‑Go.
- Prepare runbooks, training, and handover. Provide floor‑walking support on site during dress rehearsals and cutover.
- Capture lessons learned from each wave and feed improvements into data, process, and testing plans.
- Co‑manage offshore deliverables, priorities, and quality gates.
- Produce clear status, RAID, and migration MI for leadership and forums. Create professional decks and present to a global audience.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Hands‑on experience with ACBS in Corporate and IB Lending Operations.
- Hands‑on experience with Finastra Fusion Loan IQ from operations or implementation/upgrade projects, in one or more areas: configuration, business analysis, operations processes, loan servicing, syndicated lending.
- Strong understanding of Corporate and IB Lending processes and procedures.
- Fast learner with the ability to adopt new systems and processes.
- Confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
