The Life Claims Assessor role is part of a team dedicated to supporting policyholders during critical moments, ensuring fair, timely and compassionate claims decisions.
As a Life Claims Assessor, you’ll manage individual protection claims from initial notification through to final settlement. You’ll assess claims in line with client philosophy and policy terms, ensuring decisions are fair, evidence‑based, and delivered with speed and accuracy.
You’ll communicate regularly with customers, intermediaries, doctors, service providers, reinsurers, and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). Your role will also involve resolving appeals and complaints, building relationships, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
