Description
Key responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair faults promptly to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure machinery operates at optimal efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery when required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and ready for use.
Profile
A successful Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
- Experience working with industrial machinery and equipment.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required.
- Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
