Facilities Manager (Maternity Cover)

Location: Eastleigh, Leatherhead, Worthing & Birmingham

Contract: Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)

Are you passionate about creating exceptional workplace experiences? We’re looking for a Facilities Manager to join our team and lead facilities operations across multiple Aviva offices in the South Region. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll represent workplace services—ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee day‑to‑day facilities management across five sites, ensuring service excellence and compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and onsite teams to deliver a seamless experience.
• Manage subcontractor work, permits, and RAMS in line with Mitie and Aviva procedures.
• Support onsite events and ensure spaces are well‑prepared and maintained.
• Lead and develop your team—recruitment, training, and performance management included.
• Monitor CAFM systems, analyse performance data, and drive continuous improvement.
• Champion innovation and sustainability initiatives across all sites.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in Facilities Management within large, high‑profile environments.
• Strong knowledge of FM operations, health & safety, and statutory compliance.
• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) certification.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
• Experience managing both hard and soft services, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Confident, adaptable, and solutions‑focused with a passion for service excellence.
