Job Overview
The Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules and plans for on‑site construction activities. The role ensures work is planned efficiently, resources are optimized, and deadlines are achieved while adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project schedules, ensuring accuracy and integration of subcontractor and partner activities into the overall plan.
- Coordinate with project planners and site execution teams to ensure alignment across construction, commissioning, and completion.
- Monitor subcontractor schedules, manage activity interfaces, and oversee access‑related planning activities.
- Provide short‑ and mid‑term lookahead schedules, progress reports, KPIs, and analyses to support management decision‑making.
- Conduct schedule analysis to identify delays, risks, opportunities, and recommend mitigation or acceleration measures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven track record in project planning.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6.
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to generate automated KPIs and reports in Excel, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in offshore construction project planning, including multi‑vessel coordination.
- Strong ability to link schedules to real‑time execution and highlight risks and opportunities.
