Overview
Aptus Utilities is looking for a Developing Project Manager to join our team in the Yorkshire area.
What you will be doing
- Responsible for a portfolio of schemes in a designated geographical area
- Dealing with all aspects of site work from the initial pre-start meeting held by the Project Delivery Manager and communicated to the Project Manager to allow multi-utility installation connections
- Pre-start with developer site agents, pre-vetting plots and mains, and communication with site agents
- Ordering materials for schemes based on approved designs
- Ordering of plant and road opening notices and traffic management for the schemes
- Managing direct and subcontract resources on site
- Team audits and quality audits to be completed on site
- Undertake measures of work on site and ensure track sheets are completed and submitted
- Ensure teams are completing as laid, check and return packs to CAD; collection of all paperwork in relation to operations work for submission to asset owners
- Liaise with water, gas and electric engineering departments to arrange necessary connections / jointing etc.
- Close out NCRs and incident reports in a timely manner as required

- Ability to work within timescales and to deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Understanding of and commitment to the company values
- Evidence of interest in, and commitment to, the success of Aptus Utilities Limited
- Must be able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
- Hold Full UK driving licence
