Production Line Leader | Hull

Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and a leading innovator in our industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers. Working closely with customers across retail, food service, and B2B, our bespoke chicken and turkey products offer creative and flavorful lunchtime solutions, including street food-inspired dishes, superfood salads, hot and cold sandwiches, and much more.

As part of our expansion, we are looking to hire Line Leaders for the High Risk department.

The key elements of the role are:

1. Ensure temperature checks are conducted and recorded.
2. Communicate product changes to the packing department.
3. Conduct pre-flight checks, ensuring machine speed is set up correctly and there is no visual damage to the machine.
4. Ensure lines are serviced with the required specification product.
5. Ensure the product is packed to the correct specifications (weight, pack size, etc.).
6. Guide and train new starters.
7. Adhere to and maintain the company's hygiene policies at all times.
8. Supervise line operatives daily, ensuring performance, product quality, good housekeeping, discipline, and safety standards are maintained.
9. Accurately record KPIs and downtime.
10. Communicate issues to team leaders/managers in a timely manner.

Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, days (5 am to 5 pm).
