Dementia Support Service – Memory Advisor – Fixed term contract 31/03/2026

About the Role
As a Memory Advisor, you will:
- Provide tailored information, advice, and emotional support to individuals affected by memory problems or dementia.
- Assist individuals in accessing suitable services and support, including health, social care, and community resources.
- Deliver one-to-one support sessions, both in person and over the phone.
- Work closely with professionals, families, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Support awareness events and community outreach to improve understanding of dementia.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a support, advisory, or care-based role (experience in dementia services is desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
- Strong organisational and IT skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Ability to problem solve
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
