Quality Inspector – Birmingham, United Kingdom
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical inspection in a precision engineering environment.
- Carry out in-process and final inspections on components and assemblies.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to verify conformance.
- Support quality assurance to ensure ISO 9001 standards are met.
- Operate and/or contribute to CMM inspection processes; experience with Mitutoyo CMM machines is advantageous.
- Identify non-conformances and participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions as part of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in mechanical inspection within a precision engineering environment.
- Proficient in CMM inspection; ideally with experience using Mitutoyo CMM machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Experience with both in-process and final inspection.
- Background in Motorsport, Aerospace or similar high-precision industries is a bonus.
