Program Officer

Overview

This is a fixed-term/secondment opportunity for a Resourcing Advisor - Corporate Services and Public Health at West Sussex County Council. Location: County Hall, Chichester and working from home (Hybrid approach). Salary: £39,869 to £42,839 per annum. Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week. Contract type: Two-year Fixed term or Secondment opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Support enterprise-wide transformation through smart governance and assurance.
• Coordinate reporting, risks, benefits, and budgets across key programmes.
• Maintain TMO tools and systems that keep everything running smoothly.
• Collaborate with programme teams and senior stakeholders to drive success.

What You\'ll Bring

• Experience in project/programme support and TMO/Programme Management Office (PMO) environments.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• A proactive mindset and great communication across teams.
• Public sector or transformation experience is a bonus!
