We are delighted to be working with a new client looking to expand their presence across the UK. A market leader in their sector, we are looking to speak to specification-driven salespeople based in the north of the country. The role will include generating a strong, sustainable specification project pipeline, working with Architects, Specifiers and selected end-users offering company products.
Develop, nurture, and harvest strong working relationships with architects and associated specifiers while forecasting future industry/market trends.
Deliver increased growth and specification pipeline, including project conversion to invoice in line with budget and targets. Conduct and deliver CPD presentations and be versed in the promotion and application of industry/market influencing topics. Ensure architect, end users, design led main contractors, and specifiers are kept up-to-date with appropriate sales/marketing literature and provide working samples where applicable. Promptly & competently attend to all specification enquiries. Attend Sales Meetings, Product Promotions, Training Sessions and other industry related functions when required.
Must be able to prioritise and work effectively to deadlines with excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of creating relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business. Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness while being persuasive & diplomatic at the same time.
