Senior Delivery Consultant | Healthcare | Net-Zero & Sustainability
12‑Month Contract | £700 per day (Outside IR35) | London | Hybrid (3–4 days in‑office)
Are you a proactive, commercially minded procurement professional who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑impact environments?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a private‑sector client delivering a significant enhancement project at a London transport hub.
The Opportunity
You’ll be the lead procurement specialist responsible for executing an established procurement strategy across multiple major work packages – from enabling and design works through to main construction and specialist equipment procurement.
Working within a small, agile project team, you’ll have full ownership of the procurement lifecycle – designing tender processes, preparing documentation, conducting market engagement, developing scoring matrices, and ensuring compliance under the Procurement Act 2024.
This is a role for someone who makes things happen, navigates ambiguity with confidence, and knows how to deliver value while balancing commercial pragmatism with governance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and deliver procurement processes across multiple high‑value work packages.
- Produce robust tender documentation and implement effective tender evaluation frameworks.
- Engage the market to identify and onboard a diverse supply chain (including Tier 2 and 3 suppliers).
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across legal, finance, operations and project delivery.
- Drive cost efficiency and value creation through innovative sourcing strategies.
- Operate autonomously – leading procurement from strategy through to contract award.
About You
We’re looking for a hands‑on, commercially sharp procurement specialist who can thrive in an environment without rigid bureaucracy.
You’ll bring:
- Strong experience leading end‑to‑end project procurement within the private sector – ideally across complex fit‑out, aviation, or live operational environments.
- A “black book” of trusted Tier 2/3 suppliers and contractors (especially interiors, M&E, or general fit‑out).
- Understanding of the Procurement Act 2024
- Ability to hit the ground running, navigate conflicting priorities and make sound commercial judgements.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and hold your own at board level.
- A background that may include Quantity Surveying or commercial management is advantageous.
The Details
- Contract: 12 months
- Location: London‑based, with hybrid working (typically 3–4 days per week on‑site)
- Start Date: January
