Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the coordination of the FEED phase of our flagship Power-to-Liquid Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project, ASAP-DAC.
The role involves managing the performance of our FEED contractor & technology licensors, overseeing grant reporting obligations, and ensuring alignment across engineering, environmental, and commercial workstreams.
This is a key position in the successful delivery of a landmark low‑carbon infrastructure project and is well‑suited to someone with a track record in complex energy, industrial, or infrastructure developments.
We work on a trust‑based model, motivated by outcomes rather than rigid processes. We value and take input from everyone on the team and work hard to create a culture of inclusivity, transparency and integrity. We are deeply motivated by a strong desire to help be a part of the solution to climate change and hope that as we grow, we can deliver even more local and national impact in communities.
Creating a diverse and welcoming workplace is also very important to us and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. As a small team, finding the right culture fit is key. Empowering great people is what makes CNF successful and we are determined to find the very best to join our growing team!
We believe in connecting the world through sustainable flight. At Carbon Neutral Fuels, a growing organisation established in 2022 and part-funded by the UK Government, we see a future where clean aviation is the norm, not the exception.
Our flagship e‑fuels production facility, ASAP‑DAC, was awarded Department of Transport funding to complete Feasibility and Pre‑FEED stage studies. Having successfully completed these, and with the site and technology vendors selected, we are gearing up to begin FEED in Summer 2025. This facility will produce sustainable aviation fuel for the domestic market.
To enable this, we are growing our engineering team. We are building an inclusive, engaging team of makers that enjoy solving complex problems, who are aligned in our vision of creating a better future for tomorrow.
We would like to have someone in the position as soon as possible, however, we are happy to consider a delayed start date for the right candidate.
Please forward a copy of your CV and cover letter to careers@cnf.energy, and we will be in touch!
