Are you an inspirational leader? We are seeking a dynamic individual to manage a range of community-based services in Birmingham. These include Youth Service, Community Services and Neighbourhood Network Scheme partnerships with a view to taking on other potential projects in the future as appropriate. You will be managing a highly trained and knowledgeable team of specialist Team Leaders/Service Leads and front-line employees in delivering support to individuals who are deaf, have a hearing loss or dual sensory loss, to achieve independent and fulfilled lives.

• Ensuring effective service delivery and development of community-based services.
• Producing high quality statistics and reporting.
• Leading on contract/partner meetings.
• Supporting the Business Development Team in identifying and securing new funding opportunities

To be successful for this post:

• You will have experience of working with people who are deaf, hard of hearing or dual sensory loss.
• You will be able to communicate effectively with service users and professionals to deliver high quality support services.
• You will be able to communicate using British Sign Language at a minimum Level 2 standard.
• You will have leadership/management experience of delivering community-based services.
