Job Title: Program Manager – Finance

Reports To Title: General Manager – PMO

Business Function/Sub Function: Operations

Location: Greenford, UK (Work from Office)

Position Overview

Program Manager- Finance will lead the planning and execution of finance related projects across GEDU entities. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across various functions and with vendors to ensure timely, on‑scope delivery of projects, working closely with UNIT 4 consultants and implementation and support teams in Noida.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management, including planning, execution, and post‑implementation support, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations and workflows, and work with IT, third‑party vendors and business stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including plans, risk logs, and status reports. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership.
  • Ensure alignment with financial regulations / compliance standards and internal controls.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Facilitate data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide training and change‑management support to end‑users.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodology.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Project management experience, particularly in finance‑related projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with UNIT 4 Finance modules.
  • Experience with ERP implementations or upgrades.

Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance frameworks
