Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of Bentley software requirements including licence use and allocation to meet the project/organisational guidelines.
  • Responsible for the administration of ProjectWise and for fixing any technical issues within the set-up.
  • Oversee, manage and train project team members in the daily use of ProjectWise and support the overall common data environment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external project teams, including training on Information Management flows, system functionality and industry standards where required.
  • Engage in daily activities including first line support and problem solving with staff, while also ensuring compliance with quality standards (BIM ISO 19650).
  • Support the Information Management and Information Technology teams in delivering system related improvement projects as required.
  • Test, implement and support project upgrades and developments.
  • Manage and support data migrations to client systems (DM or Sync).
  • Develop and execute routine reports to monitor data on project activity.
  • Draft, review and/or approve documents detailing system processes and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of the ProjectWise Common Data Environment system.
  • Ensure the project/divisional CDEs adhere to client’s requirements in line with the principles of BS1192 / ISO 19650; continually develop information management strategies for specific project in line with project requirements and STRABAG Data Strategy.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of using ProjectWise Administrator for configuration and application support of projects.
  • Previous experience of using ProjectWise Workflow Rules Engine.
  • Ability to develop and use Powershell scripting as required.
  • Understanding of SQL.
  • Experience of CAD software applications and tools.
  • Strong problem solving and strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver training and workshops.
  • Driven and always willing to develop.
  • Highly motivated and conscientious.
  • Strong communication skills to deal with internal & external project teams requests.
  • Data-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of the UK BIM Framework: BS1192, PAS1192 and ISO 19650 suite of standards and Government Construction Strategies.

Desirable

  • Bentley Accredited ProjectWise Administrator certification.
  • General knowledge of Rest API, Azure, C#.
  • Knowledge of PowerAutomate and Logic Apps.
