Do you have a strong understanding of mechanical or electro-mechanical systems? Do you provide technical support to internal and external customers? Our client services the marine, energy, and industrial sectors and due to growth are looking for a customer-focused Technical Support Engineer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have the ability to read engineering drawings with strong commercial awareness.

Job Description

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers and departments.
• Accurately identify parts for customer RFQs, using records and engineering drawings.
• Create quotes and costings.
• Investigate and troubleshoot RFQs and enquiries.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Well versed in carrying out a similar technical support role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical/electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Experience in costings and creating quotes.
