Archangel Lightworks is a connectivity company building wireless technology to create space‑enabled networks of the future. The role supports our Operations team in delivering transformative laser communications technology.

Responsibilities

Office Management

  • Assist the Office Manager to maintain the smooth running of the office facilities
  • Manage company enquiries by phone and email
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Provide procurement support
  • Provide general support to create a safe, enjoyable and productive office environment

Recruitment Support

  • Manage candidates through the recruitment process using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Conduct recruitment screening of candidates
  • Support the onboarding of new candidates

Travel and Events

  • Arrange business travel logistics

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office administration, administrative assistant, or similar role
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Qualified first aider – training can be provided if necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in a start‑up environment
  • Experience coordinating meetings, travel, or events
  • Knowledge of health & safety or office compliance procedures

Location

Our office is based in Osney Mead, Oxford.
