Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)

As a Software Developer, you’ll play a crucial part in building and optimising web applications, ensuring scalability, security, and top-tier performance. You’ll work with Laravel, MySQL, and modern front-end technologies to create innovative solutions that support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom PHP (primarily Laravel) applications and modules, ensuring high performance and security.
• Optimise MySQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimisation.
• Implement data migration tasks to transfer and synchronise data across systems.
• Integrate third-party APIs to enhance application functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

• PHP & Laravel: Solid experience developing applications with Laravel.
• Database Management: Strong knowledge of MySQL, query optimisation, and database design.
• Version Control: Experience using Git for collaboration.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
