Web Designer

The web designer is responsible for the visual aspects of the website or application. They have a strong sense of aesthetics and use tools like graphic design software to create visually appealing layouts, choose color schemes, and select typography.

Requirements

• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• BS in computer science or a related field

Responsibilities

Create visual elements such as logos, infographics, and illustrations to communicate complex ideas

Design user interfaces and user experience flows

Select colors, fonts, imagery, and other design elements to reflect the brand

Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders on the team

Present designs to clients or team members and incorporate feedback
