About the Role
As a key member of the communications team, you will play a vital role in promoting, protecting, and enhancing the reputation of the Private Bank & Wealth Management business. You’ll manage external messaging, engage with key media outlets, and provide strategic counsel to senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a PR strategy that elevates the profile of the Private Bank & Wealth Management division.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with financial, business, and wealth management journalists, both in the UK and internationally.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, offering strategic guidance on media engagement and reputational risk.
- Manage external communications during high-profile or sensitive situations, ensuring a strategic and aligned response.
- Lead proactive storytelling efforts that highlight the firm’s expertise in private banking, investments, and wealth management.
- Oversee the creation of press releases, media statements, and content for digital platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align PR efforts with broader corporate messaging.
- Manage external PR agencies and budgets effectively.
Who You Are
- A seasoned PR professional with extensive media relations experience, gained either in-house or at an agency.
- Strong track record in managing proactive and reactive news environments.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Experience handling complex, high-profile communications challenges.
- Deep understanding of traditional and digital media landscapes.
- Financial services experience is highly desirable, particularly in private banking, wealth management, or investment sectors.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
