A leading US law firm is seeking a Senior Event Executive to join their London office. This role will play a vital role in the strategic planning and execution of events, sponsorships and projects across the UK and Europe. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as main point of contact for event planning across the UK and Europe, connecting the dots across external events, strategic campaigns and internal events.
- Lead virtual and live events from point of inception through close out, collaborating with event stakeholders and wider BD team throughout the planning process.
- Establish goals, responsibilities, project plan and approved budget in advance of event.
- Collaborating with the creative team to develop a cohesive design scheme and vision for events.
- Work closely with the BD to identify market trends, client needs, and competitor strategies to inform event opportunities.
- Produce event follow-up materials, such as final attendance reports, budget summaries and post-event reports for lawyer follow-up.
- Analyse the benefits of sponsorship opportunities, provide recommendations on the value, and confirm accuracy of firm brand across relevant events.
Qualifications
- Experience leading teams, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Project management skills – able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate needs and identify opportunities, and drive initiatives to completion.
- Educated to a degree level.
