Business Analyst

As an experienced business analyst, you’ll work with our central government clients to bring clarity to their current organisational situation, identify future needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Key Skills and Qualifications

1. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
2. Ability to lead work packages, develop review plans, report progress, and clearly communicate issues to teams and stakeholders.
3. Capability to work independently, producing high-quality documentation to support your work.
4. Confidence in leading presentations and facilitating meetings with senior stakeholders.
5. High level of commercial awareness and risk management.
6. Proficient application of modelling techniques/notations such as UML.
7. Experience in documenting ‘as-is’ operating states and designing detailed target/transition states.
8. Experience working within project or programme environments using agile methodologies.
9. Excellent proficiency in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Project) and JIRA.

Requirements

1. Business analysis qualification with at least three years’ experience in target operating model development, including organisational design, process design, technology use, and information management.
2. Active DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance is essential.
3. Ability to work onsite at Cheltenham or London.
