Lead Cost Manager – Tier 1 Consultancy Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Stafford Lawrence is partnering with a world-class Tier 1 Global Construction Consultancy to recruit high-impact Lead Cost Manager level Quantity Surveyors/Cost Managers for their flagship projects in Riyadh, KSA. This is a senior position requiring an individual with the gravitas and expertise to lead multi-billion dollar client accounts in Saudi Arabia across the Buildings sector.

Mandatory Requirements (Strictly Non-Negotiable)
Due to client mandate and project demands, applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:
- Professional Status: Must hold Chartered Status (MRICS) via the Quantity Surveying route.
- Education: A degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, obtained from a recognized Western University.
- Experience Level: A minimum of 12–15 years of post-degree experience. Experience gained prior to obtaining the Degree will not be considered.
- Consultancy Background: Must have substantial experience working at a Lead Cost Manager level within a Construction Cost Consultancy.
- Client Leadership: Exceptional presentation, communication, and client-facing skills, demonstrating the gravitas required to lead senior client accounts.
- Middle East Experience: Mandatory previous experience working in the Middle East or in a comparable international environment.
- Technical Software: Non-Negotiable: Candidates must demonstrate expert, verifiable proficiency in CostX software. This is the critical platform for all project costing, and immediate operational fluency is mandatory.
- Core Skills: Must possess strong pre-contract Cost Planning and Cost Estimating expertise. Some post-contract experience is also highly desirable.
- Availability: Must be available within 1–3 months, dependent upon current notice period, to meet the urgent needs of the project mobilization.
Required Sector Expertise
This senior role is focused on the Buildings Sector. Candidates must demonstrate extensive, specialized experience in one of the following key areas:
- Sports & Leisure: Specialising in Stadiums, Leisure complexes, and similar large-scale projects.
- Commercial Buildings: Specialising in Hotels, Hospitality, Mixed-Use Commercial, and Residential developments.
Compensation & Application
Salary & Package: A highly competitive, tax-free cash component of 45,000 – 55,000 SAR per month is offered. This component is all-inclusive, covering housing, transport, and typical expatriate allowances including annual flights. This cash range specifically targets candidates who meet the 12–15 years of experience requirement. Crically, this package is supplemented by additional benefits, including medical insurance and bonus as per Saudi labour law, which are provided on top of the cash component. The final figure will be determined based on the candidate’s exact experience and technical fit.
