Corporate Finance Associate
I am currently supporting a boutique Finance advisory in their search for a Corporate Finance Associate to join their expanding team in central London. The business delivers commercial support to senior leaders navigating complex periods of change. You will gain key exposure to M&A, operational improvements (including forecasting, reporting, and finance function reviews), and commercial initiatives across a wide range of PE backed, mid‑cap, and listed companies, as well as public sector and non‑profit organisations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Client Delivery: Execute project tasks across a variety of assignments, ensuring timely, high‑quality outputs, clear communication, and proactive issue escalation.
- Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with clients and team members, maintain documentation, and support junior consultants while working flexibly to meet client needs.
- Business Development: Build client relationships, identify new opportunities, support proposal development, and contribute to service innovation.
- Internal Contribution: Participate in team meetings, maintain technical skills, and support internal initiatives and compliance requirements.
- Professional Standards: Conduct self‑reviews, contribute to final deliverables, and present work clearly for internal and client review.
The ideal candidate will be recently ACA (Top 10 preferred) qualified with a commercial mindset and ability to influence a variety of stakeholders. You will possess excellent communication skills with proven ability to analyse and manipulate large sets of data. The nature of the role will also require those eager to develop financial modelling skills.
